We are glad to know that MD&M West’s 40-year anniversary coincides with full completion of MAJiK’s new state-of the art 100,000 SFT facility for finished device manufacturing and FDA registration by the end of January!!
Congratulations to both MD&M and MAJIK. Since its inception in 2012 - MAJiK Medical’s primary goal was to setup Medical Device Manufacturing Technologies that did not previously exist in India. At that time specifically for braided and coiled type interventional medical device catheters – All at extremely High Quality while bringing significant cost savings to the Customers worldwide.
From our humble beginnings and first product, a 6 Fr braided catheter shaft for Cordis’ S.M.A.R.T. Flex Vascular Stent System, MAJiK has come a long way to fulfilling its foundational goal of being a single-source medical device contract manufacturer. For example, we have added technologies and capabilities to manufacture 1.8 Fr Micro Catheter products, complex 4-way Steerable Catheters, and Ultra Flexible Aspiration Catheters. These capabilities combined with our in-house polymer processing such as extrusion and injection molding, and our newly added, Fluoropolymer manufacturing (Heat Shrinks & PTFE liners), MAJiK’s fully integrated capabilities help to eliminate delivery delays.
In addition to being a well-known complex catheter tubing manufacturer in Asia/Pacific region, MAJiK has been working with multiple customers in the USA & Europe, for their medical device concept design, device development, V&V testing and FDA/CE regulatory documentation. Our 30+ dedicated R&D team accelerates the device time-to-market and reduces the cost-to-market.
