HUI was founded in 1933. We started as a small appliance store in a small town in Wisconsin. Fast-forward over ninety years and we have transformed into one of the leading sheet metal manufacturers for the industrial and medical cart markets.

Our team designs, engineers, fabricates, finishes, and assembles a variety of products for OEM customers around the globe. One key mindset shift helped us get there. Thirty years ago, our company started to reflect inward and ask about our ability to be "different" in an increasingly fast-changing world. We started to realize that the growth of our people was the key to our success. This change inspired a lean into our engineering team’s passion for solving more intricate problems and we began to attract different customers. That's when HUI Medical Carts was born.

Over the years, we have grown to become the most experienced, flexible, and reliable option for custom medical carts and integrated medical systems. We've been entrusted by some of the biggest names in MedTech to design, develop, engineer, and manufacture a variety of products - from simple medical carts to advanced robotic surgical systems.

Our flexible team works with our customers’ internal capabilities and their partners. MD&M has helped our product development team find a community of like-minded individuals and customers who are seeking innovative solutions for their individual device needs. MD&M has also helped us develop a series of industrial designers, integrators, and supply chain partners.
